Growing up

I was very inspired to learn skateboarding after watching The O.C. on TV; somehow the geek character has 2 babes slobbering at his feet. I concluded that it must be his shiny skateboard. Girls love shiny things. Like diamonds and bald men.

However, my friend Dave said I was too old to learn skateboarding... his exact words were, "Grow up lah!"

Thus, I've decided to pick up finger skateboarding instead. This way, I'll never have to suffer the unthinkable of being laughed at by pimply teenagers half my age. And hopefully, girls will be so impressed that they start wondering about what other dextrous magic I can perform with my fingers.

For the uninitiated, below are a couple of pictures to help you understand what it is all about.

For the tricks I am supposedly able to execute on this blasted miniature, pls visit the tech deck website... I'll post pictures of me actually executing the tricks when I have mastered the art although I suspect that may never happen...

Still on the subject of frivolous tiny gadgets that provide hours of mind-numbing entertainment, I've recently become the proud owner of a Creative Muvo2!

(Yes, go ahead and imagine the very large lop-sided silly grin on my face now... muahahaha!)

Time capsule 1

Nothing interesting to write about...
I am reading Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code...
I am trying to learn finger skateboarding...
I am eating Meiji chocolates...
I am thinking of how to get money to buy a Creative Muvo2 1.5Gb, a Nokia 7610 and a 256Mb SD card...
I am wondering if there is someone doing the exact same stupid things as me...

Slimey: 1st August 2001 - 31st May 2004

My pet Slimey died today.
It'll be cremated at Tuas Incineration plant tommorow.
The memorial service will be held here on this page for your convenience.
Just hold your breath and say "ohmmmm..." for one minute while circling your mouse in a clockwise manner.
This will invoke the necessary emotions you need to feel for Slimey.

Here lies Slimey: 1st August 2001 - 31st May 2004

Hamster wheel of fortune

I just started work today and it made me miserable, thus leading to the following Useless Observation #3:
I don't like to take trains.
The masses make me feel sad.
They make me feel like one of them.
One of them who runs around in a hamster wheel.
One of them who tries so hard to climb to the hatch on top a hamster cage only to be picked up and thrown back in by a big fat hand.
One of them who only pretends to understand the concept of freedom.
One of them who only pretends to be depressed and rambles on and on like this but is just too weak-willed to do anything about it.
I like buses better.
There are fewer hamsters and I can just fall asleep.

I am The Bard

Spring is in full Swing! (a little alliteration yo!)
Love is in the air!
You can see it, hear it and smell it!
Yes! The tantalising smell of fresh clams!

Muse

I haven't posted anything for quite sometime. I guess I just don't have as much to say as I previously thought.

Bed of roses

I am beginning to come to terms with being scammed.
My friend Totoleem puts it best: "Life is full of shit. You have to be prepared to eat some yourself."

I not stupid

I got my first big lesson in business and common sense today: Do not trust anybody who readily promise you alot of money without thinking and agree to pay you whatever you ask for. In the end, they won't pay you a single cent.

Spring is here!
One sure sign is that people are starting to feel horny!

Flasher's delight + Hypothesis #1

Why do I blog? Because I'm an exhibitionist.

Proof that I think too much:
useless observation #1: girls on the streets are getting prettier... genetic selection must be doing a darn good job. Either that or my standards are falling which will paradoxically mean genetic selection isn't faring very well...

Proof that I have too much time on my hands>>

Point to note: Whether "The third hand" betrayed Supertman remains a debatable issue; although it was clearly seen holding the nerdonite in the 6th frame. Will the mystery unravel in future episodes? Stay tuned for the adventures of Supertman!
