Growing up
I was very inspired to learn skateboarding after watching The O.C. on TV; somehow the geek character has 2 babes slobbering at his feet. I concluded that it must be his shiny skateboard. Girls love shiny things. Like diamonds and bald men.
However, my friend Dave said I was too old to learn skateboarding... his exact words were, "Grow up lah!"
Thus, I've decided to pick up finger skateboarding instead. This way, I'll never have to suffer the unthinkable of being laughed at by pimply teenagers half my age. And hopefully, girls will be so impressed that they start wondering about what other dextrous magic I can perform with my fingers.
For the uninitiated, below are a couple of pictures to help you understand what it is all about. For the tricks I am supposedly able to execute on this blasted miniature, pls visit the tech deck website... I'll post pictures of me actually executing the tricks when I have mastered the art although I suspect that may never happen...
Still on the subject of frivolous tiny gadgets that provide hours of mind-numbing entertainment, I've recently become the proud owner of a Creative Muvo2!
(Yes, go ahead and imagine the very large lop-sided silly grin on my face now... muahahaha!)
